A Long Weekend

Well any good canadain boy will tell u may long is a time to get out and start the camping and drink beer and light things on fire in the woods. i was always a favorite to attend these events in my younger days but in recent years it always seems to rain or snow which suck when you are camping. i decided with the forecast for rain and snow i would sit this one out and look forward to the next trip or to my holiday in edmonton in august. well needless to say it was a crappy cold weekend and i work at the bar and it was dead dead dead. still manged to have fun. but having 4 days off i was able to log some decent games and i actually looked up a heads up coach and will start working with him next week. i also started to work with veloblank who is an online grinder just like me. for those of u who arent dueces cracked members velo is a guy who was part of an 8 part series taking him from a losing player to a winning player with one of the top sng coaches on dueces.

velo is one of the nicest guys u will meet and has nothing but good things to say. he is a guy that i just seemed to click with poker wise and we are both hocky and mma fans so we have had a ton to talk about. velo was nice enough to take some time from grinding 50-60 sng's on stars to do a sweat session with me.(watch me through miko-team viewer site) it basically makes it so he can seem my computer screen but cant move my mouse or anything. it is perfect as he can see my hole cards and take notes of leaks in my game. well leaks were found and i played my worst 6 game set in the history of poker. i slashed around early got knocked out of 2 tourneys and crippled in 2 more. went out in like 7,8 then in 5th on the other 2. i went on to win 1 tourney and 2nd in the other so i basically made back my buy ins. i cant blame anything on a down swing or being sucked out on. i played bad all the way around. even the heads up win that i got was luck as i sucked out on the guy to win.
in one of the tourneys where i got knocked out in 5th i had pocket ques in the sb and a lp raiser came on for 3x the bb i 3 bet it and he called an ace flopped and i over jammed the pot knowing full well he is in there with an ace. he called and won imagine that.

i dont know if it was because i was being watched but i just played bad. velo and i talked after and he gave me a range that he uses to follow early in the tourney to save your fold equity and stay in these tourneys till it gets to the point of matterint around the 50-100 75-150 level. velo took the time to explain things to me so well it was like a light switch went off and i got it. after all this time i finally have wat i am looking for a game plan a playbook and the desire to succeed.

i cant wait to sit back at the table's tonight and crush i am fully armed with fully automatic weapons and my opponents have bow and arrows
