bridgegunner on tv??

i know i know a dream of every poker player is to crush a poker game/tourney on tv in front of millions of people. well the dream is alive and well with me and i am a step closer to making that happen. i played a free roll last night on stars for the million dollar challenge with daniel negraneau. in this tourney there was 9700 people and the tourney was turbo-5 min levels and took about 3 hours to get done. people were dropping like flies and shoving with anything. you tend to see that game play like that in free rolls. i learned long ago that u play the same if the game is a free roll a $1 buy in or a $10000 MAIN EVENT. i played patient and shoved when i had the nuts or close to and was able to double up a few times and got lucky afew times to suck out on people. i finished in the top 20 which means i get a chance to audition for the tv show. there is thousands of people that qualify and i am sure i will have alot of people to overcome in order to be selected for the show. i am just happy i played well and was able to make the cut. it makes me feel good about my mtt game.

my hu training has been going well and i think it has in turn made my mtt game and sng games so much better. i know how and when to push my edges and how to play someone in a hu pot and know wat to do in most situations and how to get as many chips as i can with the nuts and lose the least when i have second best hand. hu is all about adjustments and using your opponents tendencies against them and knowing how to exploit them.

hu action has been limited for me in the past few days as it was my b day and doing alot of family things and enjoying the annual street wheelers festival in our city. my kids loved the cars racing and doing burn outs on the city streets. its the one time of year u don't mind every dick face in the city stunting and acting like a complete fool.

i have also applied to the moshman team to do some coach -staking deals and train with some of the best. been looking at playing some limit hu and regular hu. so i will keep u up dated but i think its a step in the right direction. a coach who has an interest in my play and wants me to do better as they make money off how well i do.

cheers
