A Step In The Right Direction

i took my first step in the right direction this week with my hu play as i had session 3 with broker and things are coming along well. i am still making some fundamental mistakes but i feel my game is coming along nicely. i have a plan of attack and i am sticking to it. some of the tag poker guys who i have been sweating and working with have been such a big help. i always thought deuces cracked had the best community but i am beginning to think that tag has some of the best stand up guys. i know poker is a single person's game and there isn't much team talk in poker unless u play in a special kind of event. most poker sites will ban u if you play with another player. the rule is 1 person per hand. i am sure there are lots of people out there working in teams but i will always hold my integrity in the highest regard when it come to poker. with the crew from tag they are so open an honest and willing to share there secrets and insights to the game and as an up and comer i really appreciate that. someone who has wondered around the online poker world going on 4 years now i have finally found my home. i can safely say i would be honored to fly the tagpoker flag at any live event i played in and would rail for any or the guys.

step daad, ares hero, borg7 and of course broker have been so willing to let me rail for them and even do some sweating so i can see how they play certain cards and certain situations. Borg has been so open and honest with me about his play with no regard for holding anything back and i respect that. he asked me if i look at poker with an open mind and i had to think about it. i came to the conclusion that i have a very close mind to how i approach the game to a certain extent as i come with a game plan and adjust to my opponents. borg said step back and look outside the box. every guy online is playing abc poker and doing wat they are suppose to do. look at playing a hand a different way, play your made hands fast when the right way is to slow play. he advocated make your opponents make mistakes. he said you will find spew monekeys at every level its just finding the lever to make the coins come out. i watched borg play some guy at the $80's today and borg took this guy apart letting him hang himself on every trouble board. borg picked his spots bumped it up when he needed to and took the pot down systematically. borg resisted making a hero call when he knew he was beat and played the game he needed to in order to win.

i have really been focusing my efforts on improving my leaks and playing the game i need to in order to put up huge numbers not only for me but for broker and the entire tag network of world class heads up players. i push myself daily to make the right decisions as i play and i prepare for that by having my notes with me and being mentally prepared for my matches. in the big picture we are at war with our opponents and we need to do whatever it takes to win. i have embraced this new culture and new perspective on the game and will do my best to play this game with integrity, class, and most of all win.
