Saturday morning and looking to start a session but it will be a short one as i have a ton to do today with me working out of town for the last 4 days. tonight i will play my first satellite into wcoop on stars. i am looking to play 3-4 events the 2 limit holdem the one mixed holdem and maybe a nlhe or 2-7 draw. most people will think i am crazy for not playing a few nlhe events but i just dont have the time to play through a 3000-5000+ player pool. also with me focusing on limit holdem in my hu games i feel very well equipped to play limit holdem tourney. the last one i play 2 weeks ago i won so it give me some good confidence to win a wcoop event. my scoop this spring was good got my first cash and played very well. this super satellite with extra seats added by stars will be a good way to get into these big buy in events at least for me. the only issue is i only have 3 days to play them so i need a little but of luck and a good run of cards to win a seat or 2. i plan on playing 3 satellites this weekend and 1 more during the week.
event 20 $215 limit holdem sept 11
event 26 $320 mixed holdem sept 14
event 34 $320 2-7 triple draw -sept 16- possible
event 56 $1050 6man limit holdem sept 24 -possible
event 62 $5200 nlhe main event sept 26- possible if i can satellite in cheaply
that is my potential schedule in my time frame i have to play with. my goals include final tabling 1 event with a strong finish and at least 1 other cash. if i make the main event i hope to make a strong showing and cash. i would love to say i would win the thing but playing against the best players in the world at mtt is a going to be challenging enough but i know i can do it. early next week i will update on how the satellite's are going and what i have qualified for. wish me luck
