well back at it again i have come full circle from no limit holdem to limit holdem back to no limit. i had my coaching deal go south and end as i could not put in 100 games a week as i was out of town working for 4 days a week. it was only leaving me a few hours to grind games but it was very late at night and games are hard to come by at that time. i put in 40-50 a week with 15% roi-return on investment over my 200 game sample. i basically tripled my bankroll which is awesome. i am now back working with the tag poker crew and Domenic the lead coach with the hopes of being named to his top team and being staked. the guys at tag are so awesome and so helpful it makes me wonder why i took a step back. i guess i can answer that as i had and did have a chance to play collin moshman and work with him and his coaches. the things i learned were invaluable and have made me a better card player. i have stayed in contact with a few moshman players and they have become good friends who i support and follow closely. i have given some pointers and did some sweating and it has made me realize how much i like coaching and know i will do it more as my career moves forward.
i am back grinding both the no limit and limit games on 2 sites and really putting in work. my goal is to be playing the 10;s by novemeber and the 20's shortly in the new year. i know i have the skills and the tools and it all about putting in games and showing my winning results over a 1000 game sample. i have started writing for a Canadian poker magazine well trying to get accepted and published. i am chronicling the life and rise of a micro stakes grinder who is trying to get free of his day job. i would love to write, coach and play poker everyday. spend the days with my family and play cards, coach and write all night long. to some people that sounds crazy but for me its the 2 things i love the most and if i could do them together everyday i would feel like i really have made it. family+cards=fulfillment of a dream.
i leave u with this thought as tony robbins once said you have to be successful in your mind, your attitude and in your actions before you will be successful in life. the only thing we can control is the decisions you make. every decision has to be in the direction of your goal or you will never get there
