in 3 months how things change

well it has been a while since i posted but there has been some big things happening. i was cruising at the 5 and 10 on ftp and stars playing hu and making good headway in my game and improving all the time with my newest br challenge. the opportunity came up to get rack back coaching from broker star and a cash game pro alex all the way down to nl10. so i took up the challenge to see what i could do with it as i used to play some 6 max cash back when i first started playing but didn't get into it as i was chasing the mtt dream.

feb 2011 i moved into full 6 max mode starting on victory poker. after some depositing issues i turned 50 into 150 in a matter of 2 week playing nl 10. we moved out operation over to the merge network on carbon poker so we could use heads up display- hud. well again took me some time to cash out on victory and moved everything to carbon and boom played a week of nl10 did decent made about 50 bucks. broker and alex then put a challenge up anyone who could move up to the next stake nl 25 and put in 5k in hands would get a free leakfinder video and some one on one time. i moved up under rolled on the site but not under rolled overall with the intention of moving back down if i went bust. so i took my 8 buy ins up and play 2 tables. grew that up about 100 bucks over a few thousand hands then added another table all the way up to 4. pushed for my 5 k in hands and made about 100 bucks over all. i was up alot then went on a 4 bi down swing at the end. sent my hh to broker and my game was overall good in there opinion outside of a few leaks.

then next challenge

broker put up a staking challenge. anyone who can put in 25k hands a month they would consider staking up in stakes to nl 100 and up with letting the player keep 70% of the profits. so needless to say i was the first one in line to take on this challenge. broker basically said put in a weeks worth of volume about 6-7k in hands and we will talk. show me what you can do is basically what he said. in 2 sessions i was up about 400 bucks playing 4-6 tables. i went on a bit of a downer over the next 2 days but am still up 300 bucks. i have put in over 5k in hands with 3 days to go. i basically play 2 2 -2 1/2 hour sessions sund-thursday a week and 1 2 hour session on saturday and take fridays off. i feel this schedule will get me close to 8k in hands a week. i am totally comfortable playing 4-6 tables at once and just keep cycling tables in and out to find the weakest opponents. the one thing that broker said and couldn't believe about my graph was the fact i win so many pots with pure aggression. my show down winnings are about 1/2 as much as my non show down winnings. basically i am an aggressive player looking to win every pot and looking for spots to take down pots.

where we go from here.

keep pushing the amount of hands i play and playing my a game day in day out. pushing for 8 k in hands a week and just keep grinding and improving. broker will be doing a leak finder session for me every 5k in hands so i can keep improving my play. i am so hungry for this as doing well at this will lead to being a coach for tag poker and being able to play poker for a living. this has been the opportunity i have been waiting for.
